Out of the mists of time something sacred calls to be remembered.
In her paintings Claudia attempts to touch that remembrance, evoking a sense of time and place long forgotten. "A shift took place in 1996 while standing in the Botticelli Room of the Uffizi Museum. Viewing Botticelli's 'The Birth of Venus' inspired me to begin painting upon my return home to Santa Fe, New Mexico."
